{"value"=>"<p>The collection consists of Jones' correspondence (1881-1936) and her diaries (1900, 1924-1939). Most of the letters are to her twin sister, Helen Tuttle, and they comment upon Jones' work, teaching, daily life, and current events. There are several mentions of the fire that destroyed the New York State Library in 1911. The diaries record Jones' daily activities, and there are numerous clippings, illustrations, and programs appended to the pages. Among the diaries is a mimeographed copy of one kept by her 14 year old nephew, Sidney Jones, during July 1937 while at a national jamboree held by the Boy Scouts of America.</p>"}
