Between the 1920s and 1940s, Spitzer created hundreds of caricatures of actors and actresses that accompanied news stories in newspapers and magazines, such as <span class=\"title\">The New York Sun</span>, <span class=\"title\">The New York Evening World</span>, <span class=\"title\">The Morning Telegraph</span>, <span class=\"title\">The Brooklyn Eagle</span>, and <span class=\"title\">The New York Herald Tribune</span>.</p> <p>Mara Spitzer also went by Mara Baird and Mara Koehler.</p>"}
