Radio broadcasters represented in the collection include Elmer Davis, news analyst for the Columbia Broadcasting System; Arthur Hale, director of the radio program "Confidentially Yours;" and H.V. Kaltenborn, news analyst for the National Broadcasting Company. Collection consists of correspondence, typescripts and other material relating to radio newscasts of Elmer Davis, Arthur Hale and H.V. Kaltenborn, March-June, 1940, focusing mainly on international events. The bulk of the correspondence consists of letters from their radio audience. Typescripts are of two broadcasts on foreign affairs by Elmer Davis, 22 and 26 April, 1940.
