Illustrated manuscript volume by self-described "astrological professor and magician" W. D. Bellhouse, created ca. 1852. Sections include: "Consecration of the Crystal," "The Spiritual Characters of the Planet," and "Of Occult Philosophy, or of Magical Ceremonies 'The 4th Book' written by Henry Cornelius Agrippa." Bound together with documents in an unidentified hand; these documents include "The Magician's Blessing," "Form of a Spell," "Manner of Baptising in the Catholic Church," a table of the Hebrew letters, "Signification of the houses," "Manner of Drawing Geomantic Figures," and "How to Compose an Oration to the Angel whose assistance you want."
