Scope and arrangement
A letter, signed by King Louis XVI at Versailles in February of 1776 stating the intention of the King to distribute a sum of money for crop losses due to hail, fire, or flood; a receipt noting that Charles Pierre Paul Savalete de Langeais, guardian of the royal treasure, paid a sum in cash to M. Randon de la Tour, general treasurer of the King's House for various services, signed by Louis at Versailles, 26 March, 1788; and a commission signed issued to Major de Ralb, who served in the American Revolution from 1780 to 1783.
