Scope and arrangement
The Lisa Parnova papers (1924-1939) chiefly relate to Edwin Strawbridge's ballet performances for children in the 1930s. The children's ballet materials consist of programs, press releases, story summaries for teachers, script materials for a ballet based on A Midsummer Night's Dream, and short writings by Strawbridge on teaching dance to children.
The collection also holds a German employment contract for Parnova from 1927, a signed picture of Anna Pavlova from 1924, a signed note from Michel Fokine from 1932, and a signed poster of Mikhail Mordkin from 1925.
