· To Violet Maxse, later Lady Milner, imperial activist : 1 autograph presentation inscription signed : [1887?] : (MISC 4298) : on the half title of a copy of Meredith's 1887 new edition of Diana of the Crossways; reads in full: "Violet / From her friend / George Meredith." Shelved with books under "George Meredith.".
· To Frederick Sandys, painter and illustrator : 1 autograph letter signed : [ca. 1880's-1890's?] : (MISC 0044) : from 57 Prince's Gate S.W. (printed stationery) : begins, "I leave for Box Hill today ...".
