Anonymous fair copy 211 line poem, apparently unpublished, attacking Wellington's Tories after their defeat by the Whigs at the Parliamentary Election of 1832, which was primarily fought over the pending Reform Bill; begins, "Attend, ye purse-proud Tories, whilst I trace / The Whigs' triumph and your dire disgrace; / I grant you fought to desperation, yet / You've learnt a lesson you will ne'er forget ...." The paper bears an armorial watermark and a countermark of "S EVANS CO / 1830.".
