Henry Fuseli, Swiss-born painter and writer. He first came to London in 1764, and remained in England for much of his life. Fuseli was a member of the social circle of radical publisher Joseph Johnson, which included Thomas Paine, William Godwin, Joseph Priestley, Erasmus Darwin, and Mary Wollstonecraft. · To Prince Hoare, playwright and artist : 1 autograph letter signed : [no date] : (MISC 3619) : relating to a sculpture which Hoare is apparently attempting to describe.
