Nelle Richmond Eberhart, poet, writer and lyricist teamed with the composer Charles Wakefield Cadman to create songs, musical pieces and operas, many on the theme of Native Americans. The papers contain handwritten notebooks by Eberhart for some of these songs and operas as well as scores of many of their compositions.
