The Temple of Religion was an inter-faith exhibit at the New York World's Fair in Flushing, N.Y., 1939-1940. William Church Osborn was president of the corporation that managed the exhibit. Collection consists of correspondence, minutes, reports, publicity releases, speeches, and registers of visitors to the Temple of Religion. Donald S. Harrington, 1914-2005, was the Minister of the Community Church of New York, a Unitarian Universalist congregation, from 1944-1982. He also served as president of the United World Federalists, and as chairman of the Liberal Party of New York, 1966-1982.
