Tthe collection was microfilmed for the Dance Collection of the New York Public Library, by Bibliothéque Nationale Service Photographique, Paris, via Hubert Goldschmidt. The microfilm represents Fonds Kochno, Piéces 1-156, which includes manuscripts, correspondence, contracts, notebooks, photographs, a few engravings, sketches, programs, passports, ballet scenarios, articles and other materials relating to
Serge Diaghlievand the
Ballets Russes. This material covers the period 1911-1929, with most dating from 1916-1928 and one item from 1938. Piéces 1-108 comprise Diaghliev's correspondence. Piéce 112, 113, 116, and 142-149 were not filmed and are not included on the microfilm.
