Improvisation for the Theatre. The Viola Spolin theatre ephemera contains programs, clippings, and periodicals that document theatrical productions on the West Coast of the United States in the late 20th century, particularly in San Francisco, California and the Bay Area. Most material relates to productions of the Berkeley Repertory Theatre, American Conservatory Theatre, El Teatro Campesino, and the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre. Also included are an article about Spolin from after her death, and duplicate photographs of Spolin from throughout her life.
