John Alexander (1897-1982) was an American actor who was active in theater from 1913 to 1962. Beginning in 1916, he toured with the Robert B. Mantell and Genevieve Hamper theater company. Alexander and Hamper married in 1931. The John Alexander ephemera dates from 1916 to 1982.
