Scope and arrangement
This is a synthetic collection consisting of manuscripts, typescripts, correspondence, legal and financial documents, pictorial works and portraits. The collection includes holographs and typescripts of poems, stories, translations, and notes toward works. It also contains essays and notes in manuscript and typescript relating to the author by Eleanor Wylie Nelson, Horace Wylie, and Anne McMichael Hoyt. The correspondence includes letters dating from 1903 to 1928, to Babette Deutsch, Anne McMichael Hoyt, Horace Wylie, and others. There are also letters relating to the author, dating from 1893 to 1950, between various correspondents including William Rose Benet, Mary Seccombe, Horace Wylie, and others. There are letters to Wylie from Anne Hoyt, Kathleen Millay, and Constance Stumm, dating from [1910] to 1924.
