Eight-page manuscript in ink, in an unknown hand, recording seven epitaphs from headstones around Plymouth (Stoke Damerel, Tamerton Foliot, Saint Budeaux, Ermington), one from Cornwall (Saint Stephens, Saltash), and one inscription from the glass of the vestry window of Bickleigh Church, Devonshire. The paper is watermarked 1823; all but three epitaphs (1800, 1813, 1826) are undated. Acquired with and kept loosely inserted at the end of The Poetic Garland (1806), edited by the Rev. J. Evans.
